For die-hard Shah Rukh fans, this is just not doing justice to the star. The wax looks ten years older than the original for one.
Here’s one of the many Brangelina waxes. Brad Pitt looks more like Harrison Ford. And one would say it was Celina Jaitley with Brad, if it weren’t for Angelina’s striking jaw line!
We say the original Sachin Tendulkar is a thousand times better – while we can’t argue with the smile, there’s something about the statue that’s just not our Tendya.
Madame Tussauds in New York unveiled the wax work of Kim Kardashian yesterday. Some of us were of the opinion that the statue didn’t look like the original at all. That got us counting the number of celebs whose wax statues aren’t exactly flattering to them.
And the bad wax work continues with Julia Roberts. At best, it could pass off as Julia’s somewhat similar looking sister – or maybe Faye Dunaway’s younger sister. There’s just something about that nose that’s exaggerated.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, for instance. The one with her in a saree is at the London museum while the other one is the New York Madame Tussauds. She looks like two different people in the respective waxes – in the second, her head shape/hairdo is the least flattering to her, I think. Both don’t do justice to the world’s most beautiful woman.
We thought SRK was bad, but check out Jackie Chan. Somehow his face doesn’t have the character of the martial superstar.
Here are the Obamas. The only thing that suggests they are the first couple of USA is their impeccable sense of dressing – Michelle’s jawline is a little too pronounced, and President Obama’s jawline, well, the less said, the better.
