Hollywood icon Audrey Hepburn has beat off competition from modern beauties Angelina Jolie and Scarlett Johannson to be voted the the most beautiful woman of the past century. The ''Breakfast at Tiffanys'' star is an evergreen fashion icon and set a new trend in beauty with her brunette hair and waif-like figure.
Audrey died in 1993 after suffering from cancer aged, 63, but still beat today''s best looking to the prime position, reported Contactmusic. British popstar Cheryl Cole came second in the poll conducted by television shopping channel QVC. Another deceased beauty who came out on top was blonde icon Marilyn Monroe, who occupied the third spot in the survey which was taken by 20000 women.
Hollywood A-lister Angelina Jolie came fourth, while the 40''s star Grace Kelly took the fifth spot. Curvy beauties Scarlett Johansson and Halle Berry were ranked sixth and seventh respectively.
Princess Diana occupied the eighth spot, glamour model Kelly Brook came in at number nine while Jennifer Aniston rounded off the top ten. Earlier this year, Audrey''s little black Givenchy dress that she wore in ''Breakfast At Tiffany''s'' was also voted the greatest female screen outfit of all time.
